Logistics

  • Where will the Twin Cities Tango Marathon take place?
All milongas will be held at the Historic Triune Masonic Temple (1898 Iglehart Avenue St Paul, MN 55104)

  • What lodging is available?

  • The Triune Temple sits in a classic Saint Paul residential neighborhood.  You can book some stunning Air B&B accommodations near the temple especially towards Summit Avenue.  Alternately you can enjoy one of over a hundred moderate to upscale hotel lodgings within a 10 minute driving radius. Want to keep the feeling classy but low-key? We suggest Saint Paul hotels. Want a bit more bustle? Head to Minneapolis hotels. They are just across the river. Looking for iconic shopping? There’s a cluster of nice hotels adjacent to the Mall of America, and just 15 minutes from the Triune Temple.

  • What transportation is available?
Fly into  the Minneapolis -Saint Paul International Airport, via Terminal 1  or Terminal 2.
Bus line 21 stops 1 block from the Venue, the light rail (Green Line) stop is 14 blocks from the venue.  Keep in mind that we will be dancing until long after the services end for the night, so plan a ride home with friends or Uber/Lyft.

  • If you are flying in, car rentals are reasonable and convenient.  Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are also available.

Registration

  • Will the number of registrations be limited?
Yes, because of space limitations, registration will be limited to 130 dancers.

  • Will the Marathon be role-balanced?
    Yes.

  • I cannot find a partner, can I attend?

  • We will be delighted to try and match you with other dancers on the wait list, but the limited spaces may go faster that we can coordinate every wait-list request. No guarantee on this one.

  • Will walk-ins be allowed?
To ensure role-balancing and to avoid exceeding capacity, no walk-ins will be allowed.

  • Can I register for just specific milongas?
We want to create a special experience that gives dancers a chance to find a sense of community and equal balance through the weekend, so registration is for the full event. Come enjoy all of it!
